United Airlines begins nonstop service between Houston and Edmonton, Canada in 2025

The airline will begin nonstop service from Houston to the Canadian city in May 2025.

HOUSTON – Beginning May 2025, United Airlines will reinstate nonstop service between Houston's George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) and Edmonton International Airport (YEG) in Edmonton, Alberta's capital city, a Canadian province.

Houston serves as a hub for United, offering seamless connectivity to its global network, particularly in Latin and South America. “With these new routes, we are excited to build on our partnership with Air Canada and offer customers even more choices across the transborder network," said Mark Weithofer, managing director of domestic network for United Airlines.

The launch of the direct flights between Edmonton and Houston is a significant development, strengthening vital business connections between the two powerhouse cities.
