FlySafe Texas brings together airports of the Lone Star State to restore confidence in the traveling public
August 10, 2020

Houston  - COVID-19 has had a devastating effect on the tourism and travel industry, but through it all Texas airports have remained open.

Houston Airports and the Texas Commercial Airport Association (TCAA) are teaming to spread the word on the new safety protocols and enhanced health procedures implemented at airports around the state. The new campaign is designed to restore consumer confidence in air travel and to remind travelers that Texas airports are ready when they are.

TCAA is committed to ensuring that passengers know they can Fly Safe Texas. The hashtag #FlySafeTexas reminds passengers that safety remains our number one priority. Airport executives created a special video pledge promoting the health and safety message. The video is available on each airport’s social media platforms and websites.

In addition to the video, an educational coloring and activity book has been created just in time for back to school. The book targets primary students and is also accessible on social media and websites and is free to download

Airports participating include; Austin Bergstrom International Airport, Corpus Christi International Airport, Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, Dallas Love Field Airport, El Paso International Airport, George Bush Intercontinental Airport, Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport, San Antonio International Airport and William P. Hobby Airport.
