Texas Southern University recently expanded its flight training fleet at Ellington Airport with the addition of a new Cessna 172.  The university now has nine aircraft available to help meet the growing demand of the expanding aviation program. TSU is also planning to build a new 20,000 square-foot hangar and 7,200 square-foot office building at Ellington next year, pending final approval from Houston City Council in December.
