Sun Country Airlines Offering Nonstop Flights from Houston

Sun Country Airlines, a low-cost air carrier based in Minneapolis, will begin new seasonal nonstop flights between Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport, IAH, and Cancun, Mexico, Las Vegas and Minneapolis.

There is a steady growing demand for these destinations, and we are very  confident that these flights are going to do well,”  Houston Airports Chief of Marketing, Air Service Development and Communications Officer Molly Waits said. 

The direct flights between Minneapolis and Houston run twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays, and one- way fares start as low as $49. 

Nonstop flights to Cancun will begin May 27, just in time for the busy summer travel season. The flight will operate twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays with one-way fares starting at $129. 

Starting September 2, Sun Country Airlines will offer nonstop service between Houston and Las Vegas, twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays with one-way fares starting at $59. 

All fights will operate from Terminal D at Bush Airport.
