You can also fly from Houston to Singapore via Singapore Airlines, which stops in Manchester, United Kingdom. The famous shopping belt on Orchard Road is spectacularly lit up every December to ramp up the festive mood across the island country in Southeast Asia.
They say Paris is beautiful during the holidays, and a non-stop Air France flight can get you to the Eiffel Tower just in time for the daily light show. Should you want to take in the sights in Frankfurt, United Airlines and Lufthansa both offer direct flights to the popular German destination.
If you need to burn vacation time by the end of the year and would prefer to stay in North America, consider Canada.
