Some of Houston’s most accomplished musicians will serenade passengers as Houston Airports continues to elevate and expand its 5-Star guest experience.
Houston Airports is thrilled to announce the latest developments in its award-winning performing arts program, Harmony in the Air. Following the program's recognition for the second consecutive year as the 2024 Best Airport Art & Entertainment Program in the World by Skytrax, the initiative is expanding its reach and enriching the passenger experience at both George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) and William P. Hobby Airport (HOU).
With the recent approval from Houston City Council, Harmony in the Air has secured funding to welcome 11 new musical groups, further diversifying the program's offerings. These talented professional musicians, including five quartets, two trios, and two solo performers, will begin captivating audiences beginning in July with a vibrant repertoire encompassing classical, jazz, country western, Latino music, pop and R&B.
"We are incredibly excited to introduce these exceptional musicians to Harmony in the Air," said Maricela Kruseman, Founder and Program Director. "Their arrival marks a significant step in our program's growth, allowing us to touch the lives of even more passengers with the beauty and power of live music."
