A new art exhibit invites passengers to let their imaginations wander. Paintings, drawings and video and a custom pair of Air Force One sneakers celebrate NASA’s Artemis mission back to the Moon and to Mars.
The artwork, created by local talent, is at the request of NASA, which is helping William P. Hobby Airport create a sense of space unique to Space City. Works created by David Maldonado, Logan Goodson and local school children are available for travelers to view as they clear TSA security and walk toward the food court at Hobby Airport.
The long-term exhibit is on loan from NASA to Houston Airports.
